Body Candys' Hidden Secrets by William R Brown

The online jewelry store Body Candy has a site that is a very easy-to-navigate site. It opens on their home page which immediately features jewellery such as belly rings as the "main" eye target, with a menu on the left. There is no doubt but that very straight-forward, ease-to-the-potential-consumer thinking went unto the making of this site. However, it is so simple that many newbies to the jewelry site might click in and out so fast that they might miss the many hidden gems on this site.

Playboy, Betty Boop, Orange County Choppers:

Obviously, with the huge inventory that this site moves it is virtually impossible for them to display everything and still maintain that ease-to-the-potential- consumer. But, therein lies the problem.

Suppose a man thinks that his lady, being just as gorgeous as a bunny, deserves a pair of Playboy Bunny earrings for that night on the town that they have both been thinking about. Or perhaps you are a woman that simply wants to surprise her man and let him know that this weekend she is all his, a Playboy Bunny LOGO Slave Doorknocker Belly Ring might suggest just such a weekend.

BUT... they are not listed in the menu, nor are they displayed on the sites home page. Repeat site-surfers, however have found the secret.

Where many people click in, and then after a couple more clicks exit thinking that they have seen the site. It is the real shoppers that know how to shop that find what they are looking for.

Now you can too.

Look at the home page of Body Candy.

Now scroll down. No, no, no. Scroll down further, to the stores' introductory description. Look in the section marked "Variety"...

Find the paragraph that says:

"We are pleased to be an Authorised Playboy Jewelry Dealer. Please take a moment to check out this line as well as other licensed jewelry in the store, including official NFL belly rings."

They invite you to "check out this line...", but the clue is at the end of this line where it says, "... as well as other licensed jewelry...".

Get it? The key is "... licensed jewelry..."!

Now scroll up to their menu and click on "Licensed Body Jewelry" about two thirds of the way down. There you will find at least twenty-two categories of gems that others (many by pure luck) have found.

More hidden gems are discovered at Body Candy (Jewelry Review). Undoubtedly, if it was possible for a site with such a large inventory, to display the entire inventory, and still maintain an easy to navigate site, they would certainly have done that!
